A brief overview sentance (no more than 2 lines) of the brand above, what they do, ensuring it is relevant to the campaign discussed.
An overview of the campaign approach here. Ensure this section sounds strategic, but focuses on clarity. It should be a one paragraph summary of the entire page’s contents that gives enough of an overview without giving everything away and engaging the viewer to read more. Focus on the successful outcome of the approach.
-
The Case for Action
Why should we care about this cause? Include a line here that talks abuout the big-picture issue at hand. e.g. “Three in five (61%) Aussies admit they’re not aware of Australia’s rising decline in biodiversity.” or “There are over 1300 known species of native Australian plans that are threated or at risk of extinction“
-
The Consumer Insight
Tie this section back to the ‘brand’ consumer (e.g. 1800 Tequila) and what we know about them that may be relevant to the ‘case for ‘action’ or just an insight we gathered that we combined with the case for action.
-
The Brand Ambition
This section should focus on the commercial objective of the brand only. E.g. “Increase brand awareness on the 1800 Tequila versatility and subsequently, encourage trail through to switching.”

“In order to finish assignments, I need to either write all my notes by hand or go to a computer shop, which doesn’t leave me with much time to study or spend with family at home.
Before I received a laptop from Zolo, I wasn’t sure how I would help provide a good life for my family. I promise to pay forward all the blessings to other students and people in my life. Thank you Zolo.”
“I’ve always loved stretching my imagination and creativity, particularly with numbers in math.
One day, I dream of using these passions to become a Civil Engineer. I know the only way I’ll be able to do this is if I study hard and get good grades, but school in Manila can be quite challenging.”

If someone turned around and asked you to hand over every digital device you own, how would this affect the way you live and learn? How would it slow your progress and delay your passions? For children like Ron, this isn’t a hypothetical. It’s the reality they are forced to adapt to, every day.

What does equality mean to you? Equal opportunities? Equal education? What about access to technology? Tick, tick and tick! The laptop you use every day to work, learn and socialise on is a key part of how you live. So, how can we expect the next generation to break cycles of poverty if they don't use the most basic digital tools? Vanessa tells us her story.
“My Favourite subject is English; a gateway to different cultures and a way for me to express myself through stories and poems. I have found that amidst the rough parts of my life, I can turn to writing to sort out emotions without bottling them up.
It used to make me really sad that when it comes to school, most of my assignments require programs like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. I’ve had to work out how to perform the same task without, which is quite challenging. I’m so thankful to Zolo for this laptop. For the first time in my life, I’m able to do my assignments comfortably and efficiently; allowing me to secure my future and pursue dreams of being a neurologist. Everything in my world has now changed; I can now access information that allow me to further my studies with no limitations. I promise to work even harder so that one day I can give back to others.” – Vanessa A. Nieves. 14 years old. Grade 8.

At Zolo, we don’t just provide much-needed tech, equal learning opportunities and a more sustainable future. We provide hope. Hope for kids that may have not otherwise been able to shape what their future looks like. What could be more important than that? Jasper tells us his story.
“I’ve always been passionate about making my family proud. We’ve experienced a lot of difficulties and hardships in our life, but despite all of that, they’ve always supported me in my passions. This has driven me to sacrifice and study hard to get good grades so that one day I can return their efforts. Studying isn’t always easy though – it’s often very uncomfortable and tiring to finish assignments by hand. Receiving this laptop has meant that I can fulfill my dreams of becoming a doctor and continue learning about my favourite subject, Biology. Thank you Zolo!” - Jasper Maniego. Grade 9. Manila.

Do you work in an office? Look to your left and right. About 80% of the tech you see around you will one day sit in foreign landfill. Instead of having old tech pollute the planet, we’ll make sure a kid like Rajil, who relies on only a pen paper to learn, receives it.
“Due to the pandemic, we’re currently in lockdown. Students like me have to adapt to learning from home, which becomes increasingly difficult when you don’t own a laptop or working tablet. Before Zolo graciously provided one, I wasn’t able to attend my basic calculus class, study efficiently or help my older sister attend her classes, handicapping our ability to learn.
What makes me happiest in this life is to make my mom happy. I hope to one day finish my studies and become an engineer so she doesn’t have to worry anymore. We both also share a common goal of being able to help the local orphanage so they can accept and provide better lives for those who have been left without a mom or dad. Thank you from the whole family!” – Rajil John M. Tiamzon. Manila.
